During our almost final meeting, the smell of freshly baked pizza filled the air. We had to get creative with rolling the dough as we don’t have a rolling pin, so we ended up using a small jar of applesauce instead. This time there were no long conversations about cultural differences when it comes to pizza as it is quite international. I mean, who doesn’t like pizza or at least know what it is?
Still, we got to know each other better, talked about good memories and shared nice stories. And guess what? Fabian has a pizza oven in his garden in Germany. And I can tell you from experience that there is no better pizza than the pizza his dad makes in their pizza oven. I hope Nisa will meet us there next summer, we’ll see :D.
Good thing is, she likes everything on pizza except meat (as she is a vegetarian). Surprisingly, pineapple on pizza is not a crazy combination for her – a revelation that sparked a lively conversation.
