It was good that we watched the one episode of the moomins in our last session, because even though I knew of them, I hadn’t watched any moomin episode before. This way I could appreciate the museum more. We learned some basic vocabulary about museums and tours during our visit to the museum. You could also read all of the explanations next to the exhibitions in Finnish and English and could guess some new vocabulary on your own or find some words that you already knew and then explain them also in German.
But as my Finnish level is not to high yet it was also nice that you didn’t necessarily need to be able to understand to much in Finnish as you could just look at the moomin drawings and appreciate them without context.
