This was the first time meeting a member of my Each one Teach one group and I have to say that it was a very good experience! Kia and I both went to Lapland together and were also in the same bus. We actually really met at the excursion where we went to three countries on a snowmobile. We went to Finland, Norway and Sweden. Amazing right?! We had a small but nice conversation and we got to know each other a little bit better. I achieved my learning goal “learning more words in English”, because Kia is from America and she used words I didn’t know yet. My reflection on the actual learning/teaching experience is that everything was new for the both of us since it was the first time that we met. So it was really interesting.
The outcome of this meeting was that we got to know each other and we took the first step in this course. The next time it would be nice to have a little more time, because we met in the break during the snowmobile ride which was like 15 minutes.
