First meeting with Joe and Stefan.
We decided to have Bavarian dinner for our first meeting and watch a football game. We met at Stefan’s place and he cooked us Bavarian style dinner-schnitzel mit bratkartoffel und zwiebel. Me and Joe already had some German speaking skills so we could speak German during the most of the night. We get known each others country and we talked about some cultural differences. Joe showed us some typical Irish sport game that he already played the Hurling and Gaelic Football.
After the dinner Stefan’s friend come over and we could speak German as well. Stefan helped us a lot, he told us some new words and corrected our grammar. Joe told us some, for me not known, English phrases that they use in Ireland.
All in all, we had fun and we was able to practice the language that we would like to improve.
