[Korean – French] Second meeting with Korean food

Hayoung(Korean) – Klementine(French) – Louann(French)

We met at mine. I cooked Korean food for Klementine and Louann. Kimchi pancake and Tteokbokki were too hot and spicy for them(Tteokbokki is a little bit spicy even for me). I felt sorry for them:'( After meal, we studied French and Korean.

French

We searched basic french expressions and I read them. On top of that, Klementine and Louann taught me frequency of use and the expression that can be replaced.

  • Il n’y a pas de quoi. (similar to “De rien”) – You’re welcome / No worries.
  • Pouvez-vous (me dire où se trouver / parlez plus lentement s’il vous plaît? / màider) – Can you tell me where is it? / Please speak slowly. / Can you help me?
  • Je n’ai rien compris. (=quoi? – informal expression) – I don’t understand.
  • Je suis perdu. – I’m lost.
  • Je (ne) me sens pas (très) bien. – I’m not feeling good.
  • J’ai envie (de vomir) – feel abstract / Je veux – want it right now – I want
  • Au secours – Help

Korean

I taught introducing expression not only formal way but also informal way. We plan to review previous course and study practical expression which can use in real life.

  • 저는 학생입니다. – I’m a student.
  • 저는 프랑스에서 왔습니다.  – I’m from France.
