In this meeting we didn’t go straight into the next best queue, but when we were in one we noticed for the first time differences in understanding between Germany and India.
Gopi tells me that it is not usual to stand in queues. The motto here is first comes first services. In addition, only people with money can afford to jump the line.
In Germany, on the other hand, it is very similar to that in Finland. Skipping lines is seen as very rude and anti-social and showing up to a meeting on time is not only a sign of respect but the norm.
