My adventures in Belgium
My fall in Madrid has included studying, travelling and eating. I'm met new friends and got to know Spain through various activities such as a stand-up show, guided bicycle tour and rowing at the famous Retiro park. Studying here has given me knowledge about topics like taxation and retailing.
My 5 month experience in Nicosia, Cyprus
Hello from the country of Poland! Still a bit over 2 months to go! I have enjoyed my stay here in Gdansk so far.
Hello from a very cold but sunny morning in Seoul!
I am currently doing my Erasmus in Reims, which is a quite small city in Champagne area. Since I arrived it’s been 2 months now and I have noticed some differences between french and Finnish culture, habits, studying etc.
Munchen the biggest village of Germany as they say.
Manchester made feel like a student.
3 months in Antwerp, Belgium, went quite fast. I started my training at the very beginning of June. It was a bit stressful, but an incredibly interesting time, because for the whole month, I was engaged with various activities within the Façon Jacmin. Summer is a busy time for fashion - brands need to prepare for the fashion weeks and for the following season, sell last items from the previous collections and etc.
I spent five and half months in Würzburg, Germany studying International Management in Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. I attended courses with local and other exchange students. Our schedule didn't include lunch break and sometimes school lasted late in to the evening. Germany is known for beautiful Christmas markets and Glühwein. During the wintertime we visited different cities and walked around the markets while drinking hot Glühwein. There were not as many organised student parties, but the ones there was, we attended. We enjoyed international karaoke nights and bar hopping. The courses I attended, had either one extensive exam or a case study, that we had to solve in small groups. The exams reminded me of the Finnish Matriculation Examination, because we went to a big conference hall, and had to sit on our named seats. The lectures were quite similar that I'm used to in Finland. Tschüss, - Siiri Nyrönen
The best 6 months of my life in Madrid.
My postcard from Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Spending my exchange year in Munich has been both exciting and eye-opening. In this post I share a glimpse into my everyday life here: how my studies differ from Finland, what I do in my free time, and how I see the contrasts between academic cultures in Germany and back home.
Experiencing amazing food, weather and sights while studying in Italy.
The exchange period in Schweinfurt was one of the most memorable things I have experienced. There were tough moments, but now remembering it afterwards, I remember only the good memories.
My exchange in Torino was the greatest experience of my life. The things were a little bit hard in the beginning, but once everything fell into place, I was having the time of my life.
