In Finland, the nature is a big part of our life and our culture. The forests are free for everyone to roam and go to seek some peace and quiet. Outdoor activities, especially during the winter, such as skiing and downhill skiing and ice hockey are very close to our hearts. During the summer we can spend our days around the hundreds of lakes, swimming and fishing. Also during the summer and autumn people are free to go and pick berries and mushrooms from the forests.
Finnish people are not the most social people, at least not at first. After a while they are most likely to open up more and they will be very honest and straight forward with you. Finns also appreciate if you are honest with them.
