In Finland the nature is very valued. There are thousands of lakes in Finland, which can explain the amount of summer cottages in Finland. It is typical that a family owns a summer cottage. Especially having a sauna there seems to be almost mandatory. Besides all the beautiful lakes, also the forest and sea are really highly considered. Finland has four different seasons, which can be seen in the changes of nature.
Culture
Finnish culture is like no other. People appreciate their own space. It can be seen in many different occasions. For example, Finns are not that much of huggers. People respect accuracy. If you have an appointment somewhere, better not be late. Silence is also very well tolerated, in many places almost desired. One thing Finns love is coffee. Finns drink the most coffee in the world.
