Growing up in Finland, I have always had a lot of trust in my safety and stability in life. Which is, of course, very nice, but to realize this, I have needed to travel quite a lot and see how things are on the other side of the world.
In Finland, you can easily trust that if you just work hard enough, you can achieve all your dreams. You want to become a lawyer? You have the possibility of getting a free education and becoming one. But elsewhere, it can be very different. In many places, you need money and power to achieve your dreams. Without those, it can be impossible, and that is very harsh to see.
