Varadekaani Kati Iltanen esittelee koulutuksen käsiteltävät asiat. Ensimmäisenä on OKM:n erityisavustus jatkuvan oppimisen ja osaamisen kehittämiseen. Hakuaika päättyy 11.11.2020.

Kati Iltanen on jo kartoittanut ehdotuksia tutkinto-ohjelmavastaavilta ja käymme läpi listan ehdotuksista. Muutamia lisäyksiä löytyy. Tiedekunnan ja yksiköiden hyväksymiä ehdotuksia voidaan valmistella 10.11. saakka, hakemusten deadline on 11. marraskuuta.
Toinen OKM:n erityisavustus on opiskelijoiden ohjauksen ja hyvinvoinnin tukeen – Iltanen tuo kuulumiset yliopistotason ideointivaiheesta. Tampereen yliopisto ja TAMK ovat valmistelemassa yhteistä hakemusta erityisavustukseen koronan aiheuttamiin tilanteisiin opiskelijoiden ohjauksen ja hyvinvoinnin tukemiseksi. Myös TREY ja TAMKO on mukana. ITC:n digimentorit myös mukana.
Huippuyksikköhakemukset ovat lähteneet. Haku päättyi 28.10.2020. Huippuyksikköohjelman haku on kaksivaiheinen. Ensimmäisessä vaiheessa hakuun jätetään aiesuunnitelmat ja haun toiseen vaiheeseen kutsutaan tutkijakonsortiot arviointien perusteella
Aiehaun päätökset tehdään huhtikuussa 2021. Jatkoon valituilta pyydetään varsinaiset hakemukset Akatemian verkkoasiointiin 15.6.2021 mennessä. Suomen Akatemian yleisjaosto päättää ohjelmaan valituista huippuyksiköistä lokakuussa 2021 ja rahoituspäätöksistä joulukuussa 2021 ja tammikuussa 2022.

Vice Dean Kati Iltanen will present the issues to be addressed in the education. The first is OKM’s special grant for the development of continuous learning and competence. The application period ends on 11.11.2020.
Appropriations will be used for training projects and guidance and support projects. The aim of the assisted projects is to increase the employment rate, to develop the skills of under-represented groups in education and / or to respond to new skills needs arising from the transformation of society and the economy.
Kati Iltanen has already mapped out proposals from degree program managers and we’ll go through a list of suggestions. A few additions can be found. Proposals approved by the faculty and units can be prepared on 10.11. The deadline for applications is 11 November.
Another OKM special grant is to support student guidance and well-being. The University of Tampere and TAMK are preparing a joint application for a special grant for situations caused by the corona to support students’ guidance and well-being. TREY and TAMKO are also involved. ITC digimentors also included.
Centers of Excellence applications have left. The search ended on 28.10.2020. The Academy of Finland’s Centre of Excellence call has two stages.
The decisions on the first call stage (letters of intent) will be made in April 2021. Those selected to the second stage will be asked to submit full applications in the Academy’s online services by 15 June 2021. The General Subcommittee will decide in October 2021 on the CoEs to be selected. Coming soon! European Commission’s 9th framework programme, Horizon Europe, will start at the beginning of 2021. Many issues, such as the exact budget, Missions and Partnerships, the possibilities for the international association of countries like the UK, US, Canada and Japan are still under negotiation. The Strategic Research Council (SRC) – The call text and guidelines will be published in late November (TBC) on the Academy of Finland’s website. The first call stage will be open until mid-January 2021. The Strategic Research Council (SRC) established within the Academy of Finland will open an online survey in October to collect and develop proposals for new strategic research themes. Strategic research refers to long-term, solution-oriented and scientifically high-level research aimed at finding solutions to major challenges facing Finnish society. SRC research programmes are based on changing themes.The survey is open from 21 October to 12 November 2020. The survey will launch the preparation of the SRC programmes starting in 2022.
The first Dean is a Tour – Dean’s tour meeting on November 6, 2020 with the TRIM & T7 research centers.
