Tiedekunnan professorikokous on 25.11. 2022. Professorit ovat saaneet lähettää aiheita asialistalle, keskustelunaiheiksi on toivottu mm. kampuskehitys ja tilakysymyksiä, rekrytointipolitiikkaa ja Open access -julkaisumaksuja (erityisesti konferenssien osalta).
Tiedekunnan uusien professoreiden juhlaluennot ovat Keskustakampuksen päätalon Juhlasalissa perjantaina 25.11. klo 13-16.30.
Tällä viikolla (23.11.) on tiedekuntaneuvoston kokous, jossa keskustellaan mm. tutkimuskeskuksien perustamisesta ja periaatteista. Tutkimuskeskushaut tulevat auki ensi vuoden puolella.
Maija Belliard ja Tiina Toikka esittelevät aihetta Nuorten tutkijoiden tuki ITC:llä – toimet ja toiveet. Lisää aiheesta myöhemmin.
Huom! Lisäksi yliopistotasolla mentorointiohjelma hakee mukaan aktoreita ja mentoreita. Jo kokeneempia tohtoreita ja väitöskirjatutkijoita ja post doc -tutkijoita yhdistävään mentorointiohjelmaan etsitään aktoreita ja mentoreita. Tampereen yliopiston mentorointiohjelman tavoitteena on tukea nuorten tutkijoiden urapohdintoja, verkostoitua ja oppia yhdessä.Mentorointiohjelma tutkijanuran alkuvaiheen tutkijoille – vielä ehdit hakea aktoriksi tai mentoriksi ohjelmaan 27.11. mennessä!

The faculty’s professor meeting is on November 25. 2022. The professors had a change to suggest topics for the agenda. The topics for discussion that have been especially requested are for example workspace development, recruitment policy and open access publication fees (especially for conferences).
The celebratory lectures of the faculty’s new professors will be held in the Main Hall of the Central Campus on Friday, November 25. from 13:00 to 16:30.
This week (23.11.) there is a meeting of the faculty council, where e.g. on the establishment and principles of research centers. Applications for research centers will open next year.
Maija Belliard and Tiina Toikka present the topic Support for young researchers at ITC – actions and wishes. More on that later.
Reminder! A mentoring programme, which will bring together more experienced PhDs with doctoral researchers, and post-doctoral researchers, is looking for mentees and mentors. The aim of this mentoring programme is to support young researchers to reflect their career choices and to network and learn together. Mentoring programme for early career researchers – you still have time until November 27 to apply as mentee or mentor!

Näty´s (Degree Programme in Theatre Arts) children’s and young people’s performance of Horror and Ketchup (Kauhua ja ketsuppia) at Teatterimonttu 22-26 November 2022. In addition, the Horror ja ketchup performance tour will go to five different municipalities in Pirkanmaa from November 28 to December 2, 2022. The tour destinations are schools in Orivede, Urjala, Kuhmoisin, Pirkkala and Mänttä-Vilppula.
