On 14/2, we have a Thai lesson together in our group. My other Thai friend and I taught our Finnish friend some Thai words at a cafe in the city centre. It was a very good lesson. However, Thai could be challenging for Finnish speakers as the grammar and pronunciation is quite different. The words taught are
Sawasdee = Hello
Kob khun = Thank you
Yin dee Tee dai roo jaa = Nice to meet you!
Chan Chue + Name = My name is……
Mai Pen rai ka = It’s okay. Don’t worry
Chai/ Mai chai = Yes and No
