2nd Meeting (Thai & Finnish) – Teaching Thai

This time (14/02/2022)  we meet to teach / learn Thai lesson. Oat and I prepared to teach the same content as last time, which are general words and phrases for everyday use. We decided not to The example of what I taught are:

  1. Sawasdee = Hello
  2. Kob khun = Thank you
  3. Khor thod = Sorry
  4. Mai pen rai = It’s fine / no worry
  5. Chai = Yes
  6. Mai chai = No
  7. Yin dee tee dai roo jak = Nice to meet you
  8. Chan = I
  9. Chan chue … = My name is …
  10. Chan ma jak … = I am from …

Cecilia was impressively a very quick learner. I also taught her other Thai internet slang for online texting and how to write her name in Thai texts. It was a fun session and I really looked forward to the next lesson to come.
