It’s been 9 meetings since we started our EOTO journey. Oh boy, how time flies! During this meeting, we decided what best way to explore and connect on cultural differences than by making pizza, one of Fabian’s favourite P’s. Turns out that I like pineapples on my pizza and it’s a foreign concept for some hahah: the ongoing pineapple on Pizza debate. But no, this meeting with a really fun one because we cooked our pizza, and it was quite unorthodox. Or was it? Any one else uses a used jar as a rolling pin?
During our pizza making we discovered that pizza is really a universal favourite, and even though there is often debate on the toppings, everyone can always agree on the fact that we enjoy a good pizza. What I learned from Hanna and Fabian is that they love broccoli, corn, paprika (not chopped, but maybe a bit thinly sliced) on their pizza. And they prefer it vegan. On the flip side, while I like a good vegan pizza, vegan cheese is really not it for me! So there is that…
All in all, we had a blast sharing stories, making the pizza and, of course, eating it also.
