After living in Finland for 4 years, I have a view of Finnishness in terms of culture, weather, lifestyle and people. In terms of culture, Finnish culture has broad history and known with its Sauna’s. No wonder Finns are the happiest in the world after being part of sauna & relaxation culture. You know what they say “jos ei sauna terva ja viina auta on tauti kuolemaksi”.
As a person born in the beach, I spend my whole life in the sun, coctails, palm trees.. Moving to Finland in terms of weather was strange but pleasent experience. I started to like cold weather, more and more. Beauty of winter months especially around christmas is promising and worth visiting.
And Finnish people.. Generally honest, practical and reliable. I know this from my first visit in Finland, as I asked adress and she printed a paper, draw where I have to go and made sure I was going the right way.
My Finnishness takes everything from culture, food, and adapting the way of living!
