Finnishness is a unique thing; it means different things to different people from different places of Finland. To me it means that we enjoy and appreciate the beautiful nature that provides us these amazing things. It’s free, safe and competitive education with great opportunities. It’s spending your summers living 110% and just enjoying the warmth and delicious strawberries while swimming in the lake. Let’s not forget about the four beautiful seasons that Finnish nature provides us. If we can go through winter, we can go through anything 😀
As a nation we are strong headed but still always down to help others (but not always keen to receive it). Sarcastic, weird sense of humor, peace of quiet and of course sauna, that’s about it.
