Finnishness

My thoughts on Finnishness

For me, the concept of Finnishness is strongly connected to the Finnish language, culture, and nature. The Finnish language represents identity, while Finnish culture reflects values, traditions, and everyday ways of life. Nature plays an equally important role, as it is an essential part of Finnish lifestyle and well-being, offering space for peace, reflection, and free-time activities. In addition, the brightness of the Finnish summer, with its long days and almost endless daylight, is a unique and meaningful part of my experience of nature. The dark winter season is also interesting, as it creates a very different atmosphere together with the snow, bringing its own special and peaceful mood.
