2nd meeting - Xmas Market

Visiting the Tampere christmas market.

During our visit to the Tampere Christmas market, we talked about traditional christmas foods and drinks. Gingerbread cookies are something we share in regards to that. Of course we drank some glögi while walking around, which Néd seems to be a fan of.
One of the shops we visited was selling reflector in varying animal shapes. We translated each of the animals in both French and Finnish. Some of these animals were:
kissa = chat, koira = chien, kilpikonna = tortue, hevonen = cheval, perhonen = papillon
Talking about christmas in general, it seems to me that it’s a bigger deal in France than it is in Finland. Or maybe it’s just my circle that isn’t very particular about christmas traditions…
