For our sixth meeting we met up at a cat café called Purnauskis.
We didn’t plan this meeting ahead of time and I’m glad we decided to just learn about what felt right in the moment. We started by learning the names of some common animals since we were surrounded by cats. After we had covered animals, the conversation naturally turned to nature. We talked about differences in nature between our countries and how different nature and landscapes can be within the countries. I was very interested in hearing about the Pyrenees and would love to go there some day. Before the meeting ended, we reviewed some of the vocabulary we had learned before.
I really like these less planned meetings. It’s nice to just go where the conversation takes you and learn about what interest you in the moment. Our communication has improved a lot since the first meeting and speaking with Marina has become effortless.
