There was a bit of a gap between our sixth and our seventh meeting because there were some conflicts in our schedules. For our seventh meeting we decided to catch up over morning coffee at a café called Robert’s coffee.
We talked a lot about the weather. It had gotten a lot darker here in Finland since our last meeting and Marina has been missing the sun. It has also been snowing so the stark differences in November weather between our countries was an easy topic.
Our main objective for this meeting was learning basic vocabulary like greetings, thank you and times of day. It’s nice to see how much our pronunciation has improved since September.
