For our ninth meeting we went ice skating on the artificial ice in Sorsapuisto. I think this was a fantastic idea since I’m getting quite bored at sitting still at every meeting.
We taught each other some ice skating and winter related vocabulary. Ice skating was a big part of my childhood and I have a lot of great memories attached to it even though I hadn’t been skating at all in the last seven years. I can’t skate as well as I used to, but I could still teach Marina somethings because she has skated only a few times in her life. We talked about PE classes and childhood memories.
This was a good relaxing meeting before our upcoming exams.
