During my Erasmus exchange in Switzerland, I study at a business-focused Team Academy, which is in many ways similar to Proakatemia in Finland. Students work in teams, run projects, and develop their own companies. However, compared to Finland, the approach here feels more academic and structured. There is a stronger focus on readings, theory, and traditional learning methods, such as lectures and tests. It was interesting to experience a different balance between practical entrepreneurship and academic study.

Outside of studies, I really enjoy life in Switzerland. The outdoor culture here is amazing, and it fits my lifestyle very well. People spend a lot of time in the mountains, hiking, skiing, or doing sports. I also appreciate the local work culture. People are hardworking, efficient, and goal-oriented, while still being respectful and organized.

Compared to Finland, Switzerland feels more traditional and structured, especially in education. Finnish studies are often more independent and flexible, while Swiss education still follows a more conventional model where students first learn theory and then prove their knowledge through exams. Experiencing both systems gave me a broader perspective on different approaches to learning and working.
