Finnish people are down to earth, and they love nature. For me Finnish culture is many things, but the most significant thing is Finnish nature, summer cottages and sauna (at summer cottage). Nature is so beautiful and magnificent no matter the season. My own favorite season is summer, and I would love to spend all summer days at my family’s cottage in central Finnish province. (My blog picture is lake view from our cottage). If I talk to foreigners, I always tell them about this place which is so beautiful and peaceful that your mind and body can relax just by sitting down and enjoying the view. Counterbalance to the nature’s peace is sauna and Finnish people in it. Finns starts to bloom from their mild shyness when they get to sauna (and have little bit of Koskenkorva).
