Call for applications for Master’s programmes

Tampere University invites applications for more than 30 Master’s programmes in English. The application period will commence on 4 December 2019 and will end for Tampere University programmes on 15 January 2020 and for Tampere University of Applied Sciences programmes on 22 January 2020.
Master’s programmes are available in a wide variety of fields ranging from engineering to social sciences, from business studies to computer sciences, and from game studies to health sciences. Tampere University introduces Environmental Engineering in their selection in 2020, along with Computing Sciences, which combines previous degrees such as Human-Technology Interaction and Software, Web & Cloud. Making its return in the selection of mid-career Master’s at Tampere University of Applied Sciences is the multidisciplinary Risk Management and Circular Economy for which we accept applicants from business, technology or natural sciences background.

Both international and Finnish applicants are invited to apply. Programmes are conducted in English and no knowledge of Finnish language is required.

To be eligible for admission, you must have a good command of the English language for academic purposes and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Applicants in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply. Applicants who are seeking admission to mid-career Master’s at Tampere University of Applied Sciences also need to have a minimum of two years of work experience after their Bachelor’s.

Both Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences offer a number of scholarships for fee-paying students in order to provide excellent international students with high-quality, yet affordable, education.

Admitted students will start their studies in August 2020.
