We started things off by listening to an amazing lecture about AI by Aarni Tuomi. Aarni also led a panel discussion that was equally intriguing. The conversations really opened our minds to all the possibilities that AI and swarm intelligence hold. Big brain stuff, but delivered in such an engaging way that all guests were glued to their seats.
Then came the part where we got to show off our own tech. We brought Furhat, our AI-powered humanoid robot, to life for the crowd. But wait, we didn’t stop there – Furhat channeled Gabriel Ahlman for a special appearance. Yep, you read that right! He even gave a short interview. AI tech meets history? Mind blowing!
Now, let’s talk about the real star of the day, Spot, the robot dog! Spot was a total hit. Everyone wanted a selfie, and Spot didn’t disappoint. He roamed around the school, checking out the grounds like a curious puppy, except, you know… a robot one. The coolest part? Spot made his way through the apple orchard and even grabbed a few apples. Who knew robots could be farmhands? And guess what? Spot even had an encounter with a real dog. They hit it off right away and became fast friends. Watching them interact was like seeing the future and present shake paws, seriously, it was adorable.
But the ultimate moment of the day? Spot meeting the baby cows. The young cows were fascinated by Spot, and honestly, we couldn’t stop watching. It was like a so cute and it totally stole the show from all the AI talk. Heartwarming is an understatement.
All in all, it was a day packed with excitement, innovation, and great vibes. We can’t wait for more collaborations like this in the future!
