Movie night in the morning - Digital Storytelling in Psychology course

Already for several years, we have had a Digital Storytelling task in Psychology in Human-Technology Interaction course at Tampere University, Computing Sciences. The teacher of the course also calls this thing as "movie night", because these digital stories made by the course students are enjoyed in small teams during the final event of the course. Please have your popcorn ready and enjoy some of the movies! It does not matter if it's morning (as it was for us), evening, or night.

The idea of the Digital Storytelling task is to make personal stories about one interesting or striking topic of the psychology course, reflect on the topic and connect it to some personal experiences or insights. As a teacher of the course, I promise for the students that this topic at least they will certainly remember from this course, maybe even forever! Students tend to like this assignment a lot in the end of the day, even though they might initially think that this is something where they need to go a bit out of their comfort zone. However, after the shared experience of the movie night, where we watch these stories in small groups (the same groups which have worked together for the whole course period), I have heard from many that this was indeed a great assignment.

So, every year the stories are just lovely, and now we all have a possibility to enjoy some of these stories. I have published these stories with the permission of the authors. I wish you pleasant movie night <3
