The curriculum of the program introduced students to Management Accounting, Organisational Behaviour, Change Leadership, Global Operations Management, Performance Measurement and Evaluation, and Marketing. Both groups participated in lectures, workshops, and case studies led by TAMK’s experienced faculty, gaining valuable academic, professional insights and expending their English language skills.
Beyond the classroom, students got to explore Finnish culture. Of course, they experienced the traditional Finnish sauna in various forms, explored lush forests surrounding Tampere, and enjoyed guided tours of the city. These activities provided a perfect balance to their academic pursuits, allowing them to appreciate Finland’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The shared experiences also fostered strong bonds among the participants and created a sense of community.
The “Nordic Star” summer schools at TAMK offer a holistic experience, combining rigorous academic development with cultural exploration, where students not only enhanced their knowledge and skills but also developed an appreciation for Finnish culture. This unique blend makes the summer schools an unforgettable chapter in anyones educational journey, leaving them with lasting memories and new friendships. At TAMK, we are looking forward to explore new opportunities with our current partners as well as possible new ones.
