It is said that travelling broadens the mind – all the stress with packing, tight schedules, and lack of sleep vanishes when you finally get on the spot, sense the enthusiasm of exhibitors and visitors, and start your adventure.
The annual conference of European Association for International Education (EAIE) took place in Barcelona, Spain between 13th-16th of September 2022. The conference allured the biggest number of participants ever – more than 6300! TAMK was represented by four staff members from TAMK Global, External Funding, Study Services and Student Recruitment. The general theme was ‘The future in full colour’, embrasing the ever-expanding spectrum of tools for internationalisation.
In September 2022 a group from IKDE Foundation, Indonesia participated in a 21st Century Teacher Education Trip organised by Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK). The group spent four days in Tampere and learnt about the Finnish education through discussions with TAMK experts and school visits.
