International entrepreneurship training encouraged young adults to learn by doing, network and explore entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship can open new opportunities for young adults to find their place in working life, participate in society, and shape their own future. But succeeding as an entrepreneur takes more than a good business idea. It requires business understanding, networking skills, and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds. The international Succeed in Business project brought these elements together in a year-long entrepreneurship training programme designed to help young adults from Finland, Estonia, and Latvia strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and capabilities.

The world is changing, and a permanent job is not a given for anyone, especially for a young person at the beginning of their career. Entrepreneurship skills can give young people the option to create their own work. Entrepreneurship is also of increasing interest to young people today. It is important that we offer young people support and skills to start their own business. This is what the Succeed in Business project is about.

Increasing personal mastery by using entrepreneurial learning in Succeed in business program

With the Succeed in Business project, five students and two lecturers from Tampere University of Applied Sciences traveled to Tartu to delve into topics of production and finance, and to learn about the startup-minded environment of Estonia and Tartu.
