The Hague Network (THN) has once again demonstrated its strength as a flexible, trust-based higher education network. In April 2026, the coordinators’ meeting and the Board meeting held at the same time both highlighted concrete results of collaboration and clarified the network’s strategic direction for the coming years. At the core are the development of education, experimental collaboration, and visible, low-threshold pilots.

On May 8–9, 2025, I opened the doors of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) in Vilnius to meet a great bunch of music educators, students, and international coordinators from across the Nordic and Baltic regions participating in the ANMA (Assembly of Nordic Music Academies) & NordplusMusic Forum 2025.

DigiMESH-project, which ended at the end of October 2023, made a visible difference in the digital networking field in a short period of time. The outcomes of a 2-year-long collaborative project between Turku University of Applied Sciences and Tampere University of Applied Sciences will continue to exist in the form of a publicly accessible MOOC course and Networking Steps -mini game.
